YOUR voice is the color of a robin’s breast,
And there’s a sweet sob in it like rain—still rain in the night.
Among the leaves of the trumpet-tree, close to his nest
The pea-dove sings, and each note thrills me with strange delight

Ilusão
do Lat. illusione, s. f., engano dos sentidos ou da inteligência; errada interpretação de um facto; pensamento quimérico; coisa efémera; utopia; fantasia; efeito artístico que produz ou procura produzir a impressão da realidade.
Ilusão óptica
Auto-ilusão - Em resumo, auto-ilusão não é necessariamente uma fraqueza da vontade; pode ser uma questão de ignorância cognitiva, preguiça ou incompetencia. De facto, a auto-ilusão pode não ser sempre uma falha e pode mesmo ser benéfica. Se fossemos brutalmente honestos e objectivos acerca das nossas capacidades e àcerca da vida em geral, poderiamos ficar debilitantemente deprimidos.
Ilusão negócios - Isto só funciona, esta ilusão só permanece, enquanto chega dinheiro de fora. Brevemente esse dinheiro irá reduzir-se. Não tardaremos a acordar da grande ilusão.

No esforço para definir as formas de conhecer e as diferenças entre o conhecimento verdadeiro e a ilusão, Platão e Aristóteles introduziram na Filosofia a idéia de que existem diferentes maneiras de conhecer ou graus de conhecimento e que esses graus se distinguem pela ausência ou presença do verdadeiro, pela ausência ou presença do falso.
